Calisto stares at the night sea and tries to remember her father. His laugh, his beard and his eyes were riddled throughout her memories, she was sure she had imaging some of it by now. After all, she hadn't seen her father, the infamous Pirate Drake since she was a girl of 5. Whispers around town claimed he was lost at sea. Calisto knew that he was alive, even is he was lost, and she was determined to hear his laugh again.
Calisto had no mother. She died during birth, but her father was by her side. He often said that he barely knew Calisto's mother, but she once caught him staring at her necklace and crying. She was only 4.
When her father would set sell to sack cities, Calisto would stay with her grandmother on her father's side. She was cast out of town. Other whispers told tales of her black magic. Calisto was a quick study and picked up on the black arts as if they were already part of her.
When Calisto turned 18, she set sail to find her father. What she did not know, is that her life would never be the same after leaving land...
